about

A re-release of a 1998 recording - "Alien."
The song was used as the theme for a play "The Alien's Diary."
The song traces the relationship of a mother and daughter. Although
in life, there was much friction between the two, the mother writes a picture book for her daughter, before her death. Reading the pages of the book, the daughter realizes the unexpressed love that her mother held for her and the fact that not even death can separate true love.

lyrics

Forever we are alien
A comet shoots across the sky
We are alien
We search for love and know not
Why this heart stays cold and hard
And never opens wide
Forever we are alien

Forever we are alien
A comet shoots across the sky
We are alien
We search for love and know not
Why this heart stays cold and hard
And never opens wide
Forever we are alien

No longer we are alien
A comet shoots across the sky
Alien
We searched and found a reason
Why this frozen heart has thawed
Our arms are open wide
No longer we are alien
No longer we are alien
No longer we are alien
